Book Swap Day

Dear Parents/Carers,

During National Literacy and Numeracy week September 4th – September 10th, Westgrove Primary School will be holding a Book Swap Day. The aim of the program is to raise money for Indigenous Literacy and to promote reading across the school. Students will have the opportunity to donate a book to the swap and then with a gold coin donation, choose one of the donated books on Book Swap Day for themselves to take home.

All donated books need to be in good condition (no ripped or missing pages) and appropriate for your child’s year level. Books can be brought to school and given to the class teacher at any time leading up to Book Swap day which is Friday 8th September.

Students that have donated a book will be called across to the library to donate their gold coin and choose another book.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.
